The Christ Child Society of Pittsburgh participated in its National Day of Service-”Read to Me, Inspire Me to Learn” in conjunction with the annual Angels’ Closet coat distribution on Thursday, October 24, 2019. Our chapter once again provided a book to every child who came for a coat. As we continue the coat and book distribution throughout the months of October and November, approximately 300 children will have been served. The children were happy to take their books home along with their beautiful new coats, hats and gloves!
